Robin Friday

After starting off his playing career at Walthamstow and Hayes, Friday moved on to play for Reading FC in the year 1973, a club he would make 135 appearances for and scored a prolific 55 goals. He was arguably the finest ever centre back to have played for Reading. In the year 1976, Robin Friday moved on to sign for Cardiff City FC and finished off his playing career at the club.

Clive Charles

Clive Charles started off his playing career at West Ham United before moving on to sign for Cardiff City, becoming a fans favorite with the Cardiff supporters and was arguably their finest defender. After a successful period playing for the Bluebirds, he moved on to sign for the Portland Timbers in the North American Soccer league in the year 1978.
